We are two pediatric oncology nurses who work together in Mesa, Arizona. We are moms and have gradually watched as we have put on weight with each child we have had and have struggled to be successful in taking it off while working in an environment where well meaning people gift us with every sweet, pastry, chocolate, cookie, cake and candy imaginable to thank us for the care we provide for their children. So here we are, entering the Million Pound Challenge, ready to make change and become the pictures of health that we encourage our patients to be! Together we can work together and support each other in making vital changes in what we put in our bodies and how we exercise and care for ourselves. We are two STRONG women taking charge!
